The location was beautiful and very tranquil. Listening to the river was very relaxing. We loved it!
We really liked the location of the house. The location was in distance from several other cities we visited over our stay. We also liked view of the river overlooking the deck. It was very peaceful and nice to not be surrounded by noise and people.
Location on bend of river was terrific to see in both directions. Loads of wildlife seen such as geese, otter, great blue herons, and trout. Enjoyed the fishermen along our shoreline catching trout. Rapids were great. Really tight bathroom. Not for really bigger sized people. House met our needs for comfort. Never touched tv in master because was not given directions. Was intimidating!! Did not enjoy the labor to strip beds and carry down steps to begin the washing. If handicapped then need a strong backed person for this labor. The book was detailed as to my duties staying there. Needs a good heavy cleaning under beds Cleaning can be better. The hot-tub water level was too high for more than one in at a time. Sitting on porch rocking was my favorite pastime. Really a good relaxing place close to Dillsboro. Nice get away place.

Great location! 10 minutes from WCU, where we were visiting our daughter for the weekend. Loved being right along the river. Enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit! Just enough space for all 3 of us. I've seen many comments on the size of the bathroom, and while it is small, it serves its purpose for the few times you need it, lol! An exhaust vent would help get the moisture out and help prevent the ceiling from peeling. Although neither of those things are a deal breaker for another stay here. It was cozy in a good way! If you want a big cabin, there are plenty of choices, but if you don't need all of the frills, this is the perfect place to stay!
The home was very clean and ín a great location. Just the right size for 2 people. The river was great for fishing and we enjoyed the deck, the firepit, and the picnic table.
